have 4 children - 3 are living in New Zealand and one is 
currently in London. Three grandchildren are near Auckland.
Chris, born in Zimbabwe, came to New Zealand in 1961. He was an officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy until 1978, then a businessman and farmer until semi-retiring in 2000 when he started to design and develop websites.
Barbara, a 5th generation New Zealander, was raised in Rotorua and Wellington. Barbara is one of the management team for the Horowhenua Library Trust.
